At The Straits Eye Centre, we are dedicated to supporting The Vision Mission, passionately extending our expertise in eye care to underprivileged communities globally, and making a profound difference in the lives of those who need it most.
THE VISION MISSION
The Vision Mission was first founded in Singapore in 2014 as a non-profit organisation by 3 friends (Dr Jayant, Dr Jason and Mr Avinash) united by a passion to eradicate blindness worldwide and bring high-quality eye care to all those in need regardless of locale and socioeconomic status. The Vision Mission US and Vision Mission India were set up in 2018 to further this same cause.
TVM draws upon expertise from Singapore, India, the UK, the USA and other countries.
WHAT DOES
THE VISION MISSON DO?
The Vision Mission committed to establishing and maintaining sustainable eye care programs that target critical issues such as cataracts, refractive errors, and other sight-threatening conditions in underserved regions. Through dedicated collaboration with local ophthalmologists, we aim to bring clear vision and hope to those in need.
TREAT
We set-up programs focusing on treating common eye disorders such as cataract, refractive error, and diabetic retinopathy
EDUCATE
We provide up-to-date expertise and training by ophthalmologists and specialists focused on specific local needs
SUBSTAIN
We create transnational collaboration of dedicated experts who continue to provide assistance and guidance to local partners
